Maintenance Engineer

Basford, Nottinghamshire

Days only Monday to Friday

£29,000 – £34,000 (doe) plus uniform, Christmas shut down, annual performance bonus and a competitive pension

We are currently supporting a Family ran manufacturing company on the outskirts of Nottingham with the recruitment of a maintenance engineer.  This is new role within a growing company you will be working days only and be purely responsible for planned preventive maintenance.

The Role

• A brand-new role, open to evolution and interpretation
• Development, implementation and accountability of a PPM schedule, liaising with all department within a busy manufacturing facility
• Organising and monitoring of regular service contractors
• Engineering Administration and Compliance (CMMS, Contractor Control, Job Handovers etc)
• Involvement in installations and projects
• Equipment on site includes pneumatic pumps, fluid driven motors, mixing kits and filling machines, during 2024 they are also looking at introducing further automation to the site

The Person/Skills

• Electrical competency  
• Level 3 (Or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering/Industry qualification (relevantly experienced Level 2 will be considered)
• Computer Literate
• Self-motivated, able to work alone as well as part of a close team
• H&S conscious, IOSH a benefit
• IPAF/FLT Licences desirable
• Food/Sterile/Chemical background desirable  
• Lean/RCA/CI knowledge desirable
