An international manufacturing facility based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Moulding Technician to join their team due internal promotion. Our client produces a premium product and are looking to employ a professional and committed Technician, able to consistently produce work of the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:
– Tool changes
– General maintenance, to include daily servicing
– Programming of robots
– Log any faults through the maintenance recording system
Experience:
– Training in the safe operation and process optimisation of Moulding Machine
– Ability to carry out safe and efficient tool changes
– Working under pressure
– Able to solve moulding problems to identify tool or machine issues

Maintenance Engineer
Near Eastwood, Nottinghamshire
£15.00 – £20.00 per hour depending on experience
Full or part time hours considered
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for Maintenance Engineer to join an establishing injection moulding company based near Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. This is an immediate temporary role for a minimum of three months with a view to be extended after this period. We are looking for an experience Maintenance engineer with strong mechanical knowledge this is a stand-alone role so previous plastics experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery on Injection Moulding Machines
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

About the company
They are a Global manufacturing company with a state of the art facility, very clean and automated with lots of investment going into the site constantly.
About you
Are you apprentice trained or time-served tool maker with hands-on experience within plastics injection moulding with the ability to work under pressure, supporting the day-to-day production activities, working with a team to provide preventative, breakdown and development activities to support the manufacturing divisions.
Requirements
Interpreting engineering drawings to determine the most appropriate manufacture route for tooling and modifications.
Skilled in Toolroom machinery and equipment they use valve hot runner systems, CNC machines
Capable of assembling/disassembling press tooling or any other type of tooling.
Checking clearances, tolerances to drawing dimensions, adjusting to ensure the performance of the tooling in production use.
Diagnosing faults in tooling and produce corrective solutions.
The Tool Room
The dedicated tool room on-site allows them to service our existing tooling in-house so that quality and efficiency in production can always be maintained.
